The great Russian writer Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol, whose 200th anniversary we are celebrating this year, was one of the greatest spiritual writers in Russia. Only a few contemporaries were able to intuitively understand the vocation of Gogol as the greatest enlightener of the Fatherland. What task did this wonderful artist of words set for us?
