Abstract

Aims and objectives of teaching "Topography, Cartography and GIS" as a means of
forming cartographic competence in students, solving various problems using
topographic maps, reading, analysis, evaluation of geographical maps and atlases,
methods and theory of mapping the Earth, modern Issues of GIS technologies,
organization of their use in geographical research, as well as knowledge about the
creation of various maps and plans are covered.
