Keywords:
Articulation, speech organs, sounds, joints, phoneticsAbstract
The articulatory base of the French language is characterized by very high tension and
activity of the speech organs, clarity and strength of pronunciation of sounds, harmony
of the speech chain and a uniform distribution of tension across the internal joints. In
the French pronunciation, the tongue is always in front (with the exception of the back
[a] only), with the tip of the tongue at the bottom, close to the lower teeth.
