Abstract

It should be noted that the patterns that appear in the relatively broad panorama of the
requirements of the intellectual novel genre are formed in European literature. Jonathan
Swift's Gulliver's Travels, Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe, Herbert George Wells' The
Time Machine, The Invisible Man, The World Struggle, Jack London's Martin Eden,
Theodore Dreiser’s Daho ”, Oscar Wilde, Dorian Gray novels play an important role in
the development of the intellectual novel genre.
