Abstract

Fluid caverns cause disturbance and destruction in pipelines,
outfalls. These disturbances and destruction so strongly affect
hydraulic structures can lead to real threats. The accident that
occurred at the Sayano-Shushensky hydroelectric complex was
caused by cavitation revived by the collapse of caverns.
