Abstract

The alkaloid content of leaves and trunk bark of Annona senegalensis Pers harvested in the Republic of Guinea was studied for the first time and compared to that of Annona muricata L. Ten alkaloids were isolated and identified from leaves; five - from trunk bark. The main alkaloids isolated are aporphinoids (aporphines, noraporphines, oxoaporphines, dehydroaporphine, N-oxide aporphine) and benzyltetrahydroisoquinolines.
