Abstract

Leishmaniasis - protozoal diseases caused by various species of the genus Leishmania, characterized by a predominant lesion of internal organs (visceral leishmaniasis) or skin (cutaneous leishmaniasis). They belong to diseases with natural foci, transmitted by mosquitoes.
