This article aims to teach historical materials in order to give students practical and theoretical insights in mathematics lessons in today’s educational process. Especially noteworthy are the works of Al-Khwarizmi, Ibn Sina, Beruni, Abu Nasr Farobi on mathematics. The work of our great scientists, especially the methods of solving equations at that time, the concept of residuals, simple methods of addition, subtraction, multiplication of multi-digit numbers, convenient methods of calculating the square of numbers with ancient units of measurement through ancient problems is an introduction.
