Abstract

Obesity is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. According to modern data, every fourth inhabitant of our planet suffers from some degree of obesity or is overweight. According to the 2014 WHO, more than 1.9 billion adults aged 18 and over are overweight. Research shows a link between periodontal disease and obesity.
